I am an Italian journalist and composer. My style is characterised by an original interpretation of serialism, which emphasises the theatrical, narrative and dreamlike aspects of music, as well as the dialectic between the various parts.
My composing technique is essentially based on spontaneous reactivity to raw sound material resulting from aleatory rules of permutation, transformation and variation of a series of notes and rhythms, through the arbitrary choice of pitch, duration and dynamics of the notes.
Born in Senigallia (Ancona) in 1979, I live and work in Milan. Of my works, “Charles Plays Cello” was selected for the Hamilton Contemporary Music Festival (Canada) – 2025 edition and performed by the HICMF Ensemble directed by Chikako Iversen on 22nd February, 2025; “The Shepherd and the Dolphin” was selected as finalist in the 2026 Lawson-May Award For Composition; “Le deux chats” was selected to be performed at Festival des Musicales d’Assy 2026 (Haute-Savoie) by Duo REGARDS (Pauline Klaus et Marie Ythier).
Graduated in Philosophy from the University of Bologna, I worked for more than 20 years as a journalist and press officer specializing in finance, asset management, and the legal market sector. At the same time, I performed with a cabaret band in Milan. More recently, I resumed my studies in composition through private lessons with the Argentine composer Hector Raúl Domínguez.
